This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user service desk requests independently with assistance from other IT personnel as needed. The Systems Administrator role is critical for the organization to maintain a robust, high-functioning manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide top-tier technical support and customer service for end-user IT needs throughout the organization (local and remote) with a vigilant aim towards maintaining CMMC compliance\nAssist with monitoring server health, backup and disaster recovery planning, workstation and server patching, security policy enforcement, and other IT-related tasks\nAssume the lead role in various local and multi-site IT projects while still responding to user support requests and IT helpdesk technician escalations\nCreate / maintain internal and client-facing documentation on IT systems / processes\nResponsible for the installation and maintenance of the company’s IT assets\nPerform ERP system administration and direct Finance support for physical inventory and cost roll processes\nAdvanced technical support for typical office environment equipment (PC, printer, network), line of business applications, Microsoft operating systems and Office products, and phone devices. \nProvide JDE tier 1 user assistance and user set-up\nProvide for daily backup and emergency restoration of network disk drives\nPerform software patching in coordination with corporate-based resources\nParticipate in development of computer applications training\nWork closely with security officer to meet audit and compliance requirements\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers\nContributes to a dynamic, high-performing team\nRequirements & Skills:\nExcellent technical writing and customer service skills for documentation and effective ticket management\nAbility to manage yourself and projects in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency\nAbility to multi-task in high-paced manufacturing environment\nSupport Hyper-V servers (SAN and Hosts)\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems\nWorking knowledge of other software packages including (MS Office, VPN, CAD Applications…etc.)\nWorking knowledge of Intel-based PC’s and Servers (Dell preferred)\nWorking knowledge of local and network printer/copier support, configuration and installation\nExperience in creating end-user documentation and providing IT training\nQualifications & Experience:\nCollege degree in computer science or related area or related certifications\nExperience with scripting and automation tools\nThree years of corporate experience in a similar position.
