We have a manufacturing facility in Wheeling, IL.\nSUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION\nWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler Level 1 to join our team. This junior role is ideal for individuals with 1-3 years of warehouse experience who are eager to grow and develop their skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, ensuring efficient movement and transaction of goods, and supporting shipping operations as needed. Join our team and contribute to our success!\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse (minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience preferred).\nUtilize computer systems, including Excel and ERP software, to manage and transact materials.\nAssist in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials and products.\nPerform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.\nSupport shipping operations by preparing and hand packaging orders for shipment.\nCross-train in various warehouse functions to provide support where needed.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
