This role owns the product lifecycle from market assessment and competitive positioning through pricing, portfolio optimization, new product introduction, and end-of-life management. The Product Manager works closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Distributor Partners to increase market share, improve channel performance, and address volume challenges within key product lines.\nThe role serves as the voice of the market and customer, leveragingindustry knowledge, competitive insights, and distributor relationships to identifygrowth opportunities and drive business results. Reporting to the Business Line Leader, this position plays a critical role in shaping the business's future direction and supporting strategic growth initiatives.\nEssential Functions\nResponsible for Diaphragm Pump, Peristaltic Pump, and Controller product lines manufactured at our Florida facility.\n\nDevelop and execute product line strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains.\n\nOwn the full product lifecycle including product launches, portfolio optimization, enhancements, and product rationalization.\n\nAnalyze market trends, customer requirements, competitive activity, and industry developments to identifygrowth opportunities and business risks.\n\nLead initiatives to address declining volume trends within key product segments and implement strategies to improve market penetration.\n\nPartner with distributor networks and channel partners to improve product adoption, increase sales effectiveness, and expand market coverage.\n\nDevelop pricing strategies and business cases that improve profitability while maintainingmarket competitiveness.\n\nCreate and maintainproduct roadmaps aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and technology trends.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering and Operations to prioritize product development opportunities and support successful product launches.\n\nConduct competitive intelligence activities, including SWOT analyses, market assessments, competitor benchmarking, and win/loss evaluations.\n\nForecast product demand, revenue, and market opportunities to support annual operating plans and strategic decision-making.\n\nServe as the voice of the customer by gathering and translating customer and distributor feedback into actionable business initiatives.\n\nSupport Sales and Marketing through the development of product positioning, value propositions, training materials, and customer-facing content.\n\nCommunicate product strategy, market insights, and business performance updates to leadership and key stakeholders.\n\nLead cross-functional efforts to achieve product line objectivesand deliver measurable business results.\n\nTravel up to 25% to support customer visits, distributor meetings, trade shows, market research, and strategic initiatives.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nEXPERIENCE& EDUCATION\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a relatedfield required. MBA preferred.\n\nMinimum 5 years of product management experience within an industrial, engineered products, manufacturing, fluid handling, pumping, or related technical environment.\n\nDemonstrated success managing product portfolios and driving revenue growth.\n\nExperience working with distribution channels and indirect sales models required.\n\nStrong understanding of product lifecycle management, pricing strategy, market segmentation, and commercialization processes.\n\nExperience developing business cases and using market, financial, and customer data to drive decisions.\n\nKnowledge of industrial pumps, fluid handling systems, water treatment equipment, or related technologies stronglypreferred.\n\nAdvanced proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nStrong analytical capabilities with experience using forecasting, market analysis, and profitability models.\n\nAbility to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nWillingness to travel up to 25%.\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nCustomer Focus: Understands customer and distributor needs and translates insights into actions that drive growth and customer value.\n\nDecision Making: Uses data, market intelligence, and sound judgment to make timelybusiness decisions.\n\nCommunication Skills: Communicates product strategies, recommendations, and business results effectively to diverse audiences.\n\nRelationship Building: Develops strong partnerships with customers, distributors, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.\n\nAccountability: Takes ownership of product line performance and delivers results aligned with business objectives.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Continuously seeks opportunities to improve products, processes, and market performance.\n\nPhysical Environment and Environmental Factors\nOffice Environment\nThis position operatesin a manufacturing office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment.
