The duties will include manufacturing and environmental quality assurance, monitoring equipment performance, product testing and release, validation studies, calibration, and document control.\nDesired Skills & Qualifications\nRegulatory Knowledge\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.\nWorking knowledge of sampling plans for product acceptance.\nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to interact and communicate effectively across diverse functions, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Service.\nTechnical Skills\nBasic metrology techniques.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.\nExperience using statistical software and techniques.\nStrong technical writing skills.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nInspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment\nEnsure all test and measurement equipment is maintained in compliance with current calibration requirements.\nEnsure all training requirements related to the operation and use of test equipment remain current.\nWork Orders\nReview and approve work orders related to product acceptance.\nCreate Certificates of Conformance as required.\nReceiving Inspection\nEnsure acceptance activities and requirements are appropriately defined.\nVerify the suitability of inspection, testing, and sampling methods for incoming materials.\nCorrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)\nInitiate, participate in, and lead corrective and preventive action investigations as required.\nProduction and Process Controls\nReview and approve inspection work instructions.\nSupport and maintain effective production and process control activities.\nNonconforming Product\nManage nonconforming product activities and documentation.\nMaintain quarantine areas and ensure proper identification, segregation, investigation, and disposition of nonconforming materials.\nMaterial Review Board (MRB)\nLead Material Review Board activities as required.\nProvide investigation findings and recommendations to support product disposition decisions.\nCalibration Program Management\nDevelop and implement calibration procedures.\nOversee the recall, calibration, and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.\nRegulatory Compliance\nManage REACH and RoHS certification requirements.\nEnsure compliance with Proposition 65 regulations.\nReturns and Customer Quality Support\nFacilitate and coordinate the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.\nStatistical Analysis\nApply appropriate statistical techniques to support quality objectives.\nMaintain an understanding of sampling plans used for product acceptance and process verification.\nDISCLAIMER:\nThe information on this job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this role at the Middleboro facility of IDEX Health & Science.
