You will serve as the single point of accountability for projects from initial contract review through final delivery. These projects are complex and hands-on, requiring steady coordination and attention to detail. You’ll work on projects across many of Mott’s business units, including Aerospace & Defense and Semiconductor, with A&D expected to represent a significant portion of the portfolio. You’ll also work closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams while taking ownership of broader program execution, proactively managing risks, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed, and driving non-engineering project tasks with consistency and excellence.\nDay to day, you’ll be the central organizer of all project activities: building and maintaining project schedules, placing and tracking Purchase Orders, managing vendor relationships to keep materials and services on track, scheduling and leading customer reviews, and overseeing project finances with clear cost tracking and reporting. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to guide important projects from start to finish while working alongside a strong technical team and making a visible impact on customer success.\nResponsibilities:\nProject execution, owning cost, schedule, scope, and delivery from contract review through shipment.\nTranslate customer requirements into clear plans and deliverables, coordinating closely with engineering to ensure technical outputs meet contract expectations.\nRun project meetings and communication, maintaining action logs, providing timely stakeholder updates, and leading customer reviews.\nManage project risks and finances, tracking costs, identifying issues early, and driving mitigation plans to protect delivery commitments.\nManage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced environment\nManage third party vendors and engineering firms to meet schedule commitments\nOrganize priorities and handoffs between internal Mott Development group, Operations, and other internal departments\nExpected Performance Outcomes:\nMeet contract ship date for complex filtration projects\nManage project costs to within 5% of definitive “as-sold” cost estimate for standard projects\nManage projects costs to within 10% of definitive “as-sold” cost estimated for first of a kind projects\nExperience Required:\nBS Degree in Engineering\nProject Management experience\nExperience with budgeting, EAC/ETC forecasting, variance analysis\nDriving recovery plans to protect margins\nPMP preferred\nA&D experience preferred\nExperience running customer reviews (CDR/TRR) preferred\nTechnical Understanding of Engineered Systems\nAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?\nTotal Rewards\nThe compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience.
