(VPI), Millux B.V., and Louwers Hanique B.V.\nBusiness Unit: 603 OPTX Keene NH\nResponsibilities:\nThe Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and verifying\nmanufactured products to ensure they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and internal requirements. This role performs final product acceptance, validates recorded measurement data, and ensures all required inspection documentation and data packets are complete and accurate prior to customer release. The Quality Technician works closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality is built into processes and products.\nA qualified individual with a disability must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nPerform inspection and testing of manufactured parts to determine product acceptance or rejection.\nExecute final inspection and provide final acceptance of product prior to shipment.\nAccurately record, verify, and report inspection results and measurement data.\nPrepare and maintain customer inspection data packets and quality records.\nWork collaboratively with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and met.\nRead and interpret optical and traditional engineering drawings and specifications.\nFollow detailed work instructions, procedures, and inspection plans.\nConduct optical testing as required by customer or internal specifications.\nMaintain organization of inspection activities and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.\nSupport compliance with ISO standards and internal quality system requirements.\nTransport finished products to the final inspection area as required.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWorks in a manufacturing and inspection environment.\nModerate walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching required.\nOccasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.\nOperates tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nRequired to maintain a clean and safe work area.\nMust follow established safety procedures.\nResponsible for correcting unsafe conditions when possible and reporting hazards to management or the Safety Committee immediately.\nTravel may be required.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nMinimum of Three (3) years of experience in a quality, inspection, metrology, similar manufacturing role, or equivalent experience.\nStrong understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO and internal quality procedures.\nExperience working with optical components and precision-manufactured parts preferred.\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently and make sound decisions within defined responsibilities.\nAbility to use relevant computer applications: MS Office, MS Outlook.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to read and understand both optical and traditional blueprints.\nMust have strong attention to detail.\nCertain positions with IDEX Corporation and its business units require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
