This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with a strong HVAC background who enjoys preventive maintenance, teamwork, and continuous learning.\nSchedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Sunday - Thursday, as well as on-call duty one weekend every 5 weeks (with on-call pay)\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure reliable facility operations.\nMaintain and support equipment including chillers, boilers (13 onsite at IDEXX), air handlers, pumps, and associated systems.\nTroubleshoot mechanical system issues and support timely repairs to minimize downtime.\nDocument all work activity accurately within work order and maintenance management systems.\nMonitor and operate building automation systems (BAS) to support system performance and efficiency.\nCollaborate closely with teammates and other trades to maintain a safe, professional, and service-oriented work environment.\nSupport compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.\nParticipate in ongoing learning and skills development, including training on new equipment and systems.\nObtain additional certifications as needed; IDEXX will sponsor a High Pressure Boiler License for qualified candidates who do not already hold one.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum of 2 years of HVAC/ facilities maintenance experience.\nHVAC mechanical background with hands-on experience in commercial or industrial environments.\nAssociate of Science degree in HVAC Technology.\nExperience documenting maintenance activities in work order systems.\nProfessional experience working with building automation systems\nOne of the following licenses is required: Refrigeration License, Oil Burner License, Gas License or High Pressure Boiler/Engineers License\nStrong collaboration and communication skills with a professional presence.\nAbility and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.\nBenefits:\n$29/hr - $32/hr depending on skills and experience\nPaid Time Off\n401K Matching\nDiscounted Stock Purchasing\nYearly Merit Increases\nYearly Bonus\nSafe location in a modern environment\nWhy IDEXX?\nWe’re proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
