These are full-time, on-site roles. You will apply bench-level scientific expertise and a systems engineering mindset to help develop new products, blending computational analysis with hands-on experimental work to support assay design, performance characterization, and data-driven decision making. Our team develops new additions to our in-house and reference laboratory assay testing technologies and partners closely with cross-functional colleagues to bring products from concept to launch.\nWhy this role matters:\nYou will be part of a technical team that brings new products from concept to launch. Working alongside scientists and engineers from a range of disciplines, you will support the design, development, and characterization of new assay products that expand our in-house and reference laboratory testing offerings. Your work will help shape the products our customers rely on.\nIn this role, you will:\nParticipate in the design and execution of laboratory studies to characterize assay performance\nApply foundational statistical techniques to analyze and interpret experimental data\nCreate clear data visualizations and summaries that communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences\nBreak complex systems into subsystems with well-defined interfaces, and verify that they work together as a whole, not just individually\nPartner with cross-functional teams and use sound scientific judgment to guide decisions\nWhat you need to succeed:\nA bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in bioengineering or a related field is required\nLaboratory bench skills (e.g., accurate pipetting, reagent and buffer preparation, microplate-based assays), instrumentation skills, and safe laboratory practices are required.\nStrong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills are required\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and discussing data at team meetings, are required\nExperience with statistical software such as JMP\nHands-on experience with ELISA and other immunoassay techniques is preferred\nExperience with diagnostic testing and instrumentation is preferred\nAdaptability and the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative, own results, and maintain strong attention to detail is required.
