Your work supports IDEXX’s commitment to delivering high-quality products on time with no disruption to customers, and it contributes to safer water for people everywhere.\nIn this role:\nYou will ensure that production goals are met through effective staffing assignments across multiple production lines. \nYou will partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality Control and Engineering Technical staff to ensure product quality and availability.\nYou will maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.\nYou will manage staff, assign work, monitor activities, evaluate performance and manage critical issues.\nYou will work within SAP daily to close production orders in a timely manner, reconcile orders to account for labor and material usage variances, and review process control with employees to sustain consistent execution.\nYou will work within Compliance Quest to own and close assigned quality records (such as nonconformances, CAPAs, and change controls) on time, and keep training assignments and audit readiness current for your team.\nYou will ensure your team can navigate to, find, and correctly use current controlled documents within our systems, and you will verify this through regular coaching and floor-level checks.\nYou will coordinate, implement, and assist other production supervisors with ensuring goals are met.\nYou will create procedures and documentation to support process changes, new products, and new equipment.\nYou will identify and recommend measures to improve operator training and development, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.\nYou will create and present quality and production reports for management peers and superiors.\nYou will lead functional teams to drive quality and productivity improvements.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nYou possess a High School diploma and an equivalent combination of further education, training and leadership experience.\nYou have professional and positive verbal and written communication skills.\nYou possess the ability and desire to lead, direct and delegate a diverse production team.\nYou have proven effectiveness of teaching and coaching others.\nYour leadership ability to build team engagement and employee trust results in achieving common goals.\nYour strong computer skills include experience using SAP (or a similar ERP or inventory management system) and a quality management system such as Compliance Quest, along with proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS applications.\nYou have a working understanding of document control and quality system requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.\nYou have strong data gathering skills, with a high-level acceptance for accuracy and consistency.\nYou have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nYour planning and execution skills include strong analytical abilities.\nExperience Leading Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing) is preferred.\nSchedule:\n2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 11:30pm\nReliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the role\nWhat you can expect from us:\nAn annual salary target of $70,000 - $75,000, depending on experience\nOpportunity for annual cash bonus\nHealth / Dental / Vision Benefits that start day one of employment\nOpportunity for performance based annual merit increase\n5% matching 401k\nGenerous PTO benefits\nAdditional benefits include but not limited to pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more!\nWhy IDEXX:\nWe’re proud of the work we do, because our work matters.
