You will partner closely with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to advance our platform capabilities and ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operations.\nIn this role, you will…\nLead and develop a team of DevOps engineers, setting priorities, coaching for growth, and ensuring continuous technology operations.\nOwn the roadmap for cloud automation, cloud infrastructure, platform tooling available to the organization.\nDrive infrastructure security practices, including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance, in partnership with the security and business leaders.\nAdvance the DevOps team’s maturity of AI in workflow that increases deployment speed, reliability, and developer productivity.\nEvaluate and introduce new tools and platform advancements that improve scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.\nManage incident response processes and drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement plans.\nPartner with engineering and IT leadership to align infrastructure investments with business and product priorities.\nOwn vendor and cloud cost management, ensuring efficient and secure use of cloud resources.\nWhat you will need to succeed…\nLocation:We are only looking for qualified individuals in Maine, New Hampshire or Massachusetts. Those that are driving distance to our corporate HQ in Westbrook, Maine we offer the flexible hybrid requirement of only 8 days per month on site. For those further than 1 hour away from Westbrook, Maine, we would be open to less than the 8 days on-site per month.\n7 or more years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering and at least 7+ years in a people management role.\n Strong hands-on background with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).\nDemonstrated experience embedding security practices into infrastructure lifecycle management and CI/CD pipelines.\nHands-on experience with observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch) for monitoring, alerting, and performance management.\nProven track record of scaling a DevOps or platform team, including technical hiring, org design, and maturing operational processes.\nTrack record of leading teams through incident response and operational maturity improvements.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy for non-technical stakeholders.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with cost management and FinOps tooling.
