At IDEXX, we're looking for a Veterinary Software Account Manager to join our growing European team and play a key role in supporting some of our most important corporate and strategic customers.
In this highly visible role, you will act as a trusted partner to veterinary groups and large independent practices, helping them maximize the value of our software solutions while fostering long-term partnerships. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Europe to deliver exceptional customer experiences, support business growth, and drive successful implementations of new products and services.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned corporate and strategic veterinary accounts across Europe.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term customer relationships based on trust, collaboration, and business value.
- Support customers throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they achieve their objectives while maximizing adoption of IDEXX software solutions.
- Manage customer escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver effective and timely resolutions.
- Partner with Sales, Technical Support, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Support software implementations, customer onboarding activities, and project delivery across strategic accounts.
- Develop growth plans for existing customers through upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities.
- Assist with contract renewals, pricing discussions, rebate programs, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor account performance against customer and business objectives and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage incoming commercial opportunities from independent veterinary groups and key customers.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
- 2-4 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Key Account Management, or B2B sales.
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional language skills, particularly German, are highly desirable.
- Experience within SaaS, software, healthcare technology, veterinary, or related industries.
- Exposure to managing strategic or enterprise-level customers.
- Experience leading initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
