With ST Engineering iDirect, the sky isn’t the limit-it’s just the beginning!\nWe are in search for a Senior Sales Engineer based in Argentina to proactively assist with the technical aspects of all sales activities for customers within assigned territory.\nResponsibilities\nWork closely with Sales Executives in assigned territories to identify opportunities for iDirect solutions.\nAct in a consultative role to customers and partners designing satellite-based IP networks.\nCreate and deliver technical presentations and white papers as needed.\nPerform equipment demonstrations and lab testing of network solutions.\nAssist in the development of formal sales proposals to ensure technical accuracy.\nAct as an interface between the customer or partner and iDirect on technical issues.\nProvide technical feedback to Product Marketing.\nPlan and execute customer engagements involving implementation, onsite support and training.\nPerform professional services engagements including system design, integration and network performance analysis.\nSupport sales regions globally as required.\nAbility to travel; 40% or higher travel is typical.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.\n7+ years designing and implementing satellite networks\nExperience with cloud and 5G NTN architecture will be advantageous.\nExperience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs and IP troubleshooting.\nExperience with VoIP, IPSec, VPN, TCP spoofing, QoS and packet analysis tools.\nKnowledge of RF/satellite communications, link budgets, RF design, teleport design and commissioning.\nAbility to act in a consultative role to ensure customer needs are met.\nAbility to coordinate technical features with business values.\nThis position involves access to hardware, software, technology, technical data, and/or services that may be regulated under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. sanctions laws administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other applicable export control, sanctions, and national security laws and regulations.\nAs a condition of employment, and where permitted by applicable law, candidates may be required to provide information necessary for the Company to determine whether any export license, governmental authorization, security clearance, or other regulatory approval is required before access to controlled items, technology, technical data, software, or services can be granted.\nIn addition to U.S. requirements, access to certain controlled information, technology, technical data, products, or services may be subject to export control, sanctions, national security, or similar regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions where the Company operates or conducts business.
