The role involves translating business requirements into scalable data models, optimizing existing data systems, and ensuring data consistency, quality, and alignment with IDP's enterprise data vision.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Analyze business requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\n\n- Evaluate existing data systems and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.\n\n- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Product Owners, Software Developers, and Architects to design data models and data flows.\n\n- Develop and maintain data modeling standards, coding best practices, and metadata models.\n\n- Implement data strategies and ensure data models align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.\n\n- Review system modifications to ensure data consistency, integration, and cross-system compatibility.\n\n- Evaluate data systems for discrepancies, variances, performance issues, and efficiency.\n\n- Troubleshoot data modeling and system-related issues and recommend effective solutions.\n\n- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and training materials.\n\n- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote data modeling best practices.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications :\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.\n\n- 8 -
