About The Job: As a Technical Manager for IDrive BMR (Bare Metal Restore), you will lead the team in advancing our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery platform, improving backup, recovery, and cloud integration while driving reliability, scalability, and performance across on-premises and cloud environments. What You Will Be Doing: Oversee the architecture and development of BMR's core platform (ZFS-based storage, backup orchestration, recovery automation). Define and execute the technical roadmap for next-gen BCDR capabilities, including AI-driven insights, smart retention, and hybrid cloud recovery. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver enterprise-grade reliability and seamless user experiences. Team & Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams (Java, Python, C++, and frontend) to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and Product Owner to align on goals, priorities, and technical direction.
