This role focuses on cellular system operations, RF engineering, and spectrum coordination to support cyber training and test range activities.\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern cellular technologies, frequency management, and regulatory coordination to ensure effective and compliant communications environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport operations and maintenance of cellular and RF systems across training environments\nConfigure and manage 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G cellular technologies\nPerform frequency management and spectrum coordination to support mission requirements\nCoordinate with license owners and stakeholders for spectrum usage\nDevelop and submit FCC licensing applications, including Experimental Special Temporary Authority (STA) requests\nCoordinate and deconflict spectrum usage to enable training objectives and operational readiness\nAnalyze performance of telecommunication systems and transmission media\nSupport integration of cellular infrastructure within cyber range environments\nRequirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management, or related disciplineOR equivalent experience in lieu of degree\n\nExperience\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in:Cellular system operations\nRadio Frequency (RF) engineering\nSpectrum management\n\nHands-on experience with:2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies\nCellular frequency coordination and management\n\nExperience with:FCC licensing processes, including Experimental STA applications or similar\nCoordinating and deconflicting spectrum with stakeholders\n\nStrong understanding of:Telecommunication equipment and transmission media\nSystem components and communication architectures\n\nPractical knowledge of:Telecommunications methods, techniques, and operational best practices\n\nDesired Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\nExperience in DoD or training range environments\nKnowledge of emerging wireless and RF technologies\nAbility to coordinate across technical teams and external stakeholders\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nSecurity Clearance\n Active Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required\nEmployee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
