Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements.\nJob Description\nIDS is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator I to support the administration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise computing environments. The selected candidate will provide technical support for Windows and Linux systems, assist with network and infrastructure operations, and support virtualized and cloud-based environments. This role requires experience administering computer systems, monitoring infrastructure performance, and maintaining secure and reliable computing environments in support of mission requirements.\nKey Duties\nAdminister and maintain Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems.\nSupport the operation and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure.\nMonitor system and infrastructure performance to ensure availability and reliability.\nSupport cloud, physical, and virtual network environments.\nConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot virtualized platforms and services.\nMaintain system documentation and administrative records.\nAssist with system updates, patches, and configuration management activities.\nSupport implementation and maintenance of security controls and system hardening measures.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.\nCoordinate with technical teams to support operational and project requirements.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\nActive Secret security clearance required.\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience working with computer systems.\nDemonstrated experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems engineering and administration.\nDemonstrated experience with cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.\nExpertise with hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen.\nCompensation\nCompetitive Hourly Pay\nBenefits\nEmployee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
