Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements.\nJob Description\nIDS is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Integration Engineer to support enterprise computer systems and network operations. The engineer will manage and analyze system and network environments, translate user needs into technical solutions, support system migrations, and evaluate technologies to enhance agency standard solutions.\nKey Duties\nManage enterprise computer systems and networks by analyzing technical issues and implementing corrective actions\nMonitor and interpret visual outputs indicating operational status of systems and network infrastructure\nTranslate user requests into technical diagnoses and implement solutions to meet operational needs\nDevelop and support migration strategies to transition customers to new architectures or technologies with minimal impact\nEvaluate new technologies and equipment for integration into agency standard solutions\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with three (3) years, or Associate’s degree with seven (7) years, or high school diploma/GED with nine (9) years of relevant experience\nDegree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field\nStrong experience with Linux systems\nExperience in systems administration, network administration, application administration, or IT support\nExperience supporting hardware installation such as servers or network infrastructure\nExperience configuring storage solutions such as network-attached storage\nExperience implementing security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance\nKnowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or C\nMust possess an IAT-I certification (e.g., Security+ CE)\nRelevant experience must include computer or information systems design or development, programming, information or cyber security, network security, vulnerability analysis, computer forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering\nExperience in network or system administration\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nCompensation\nSalary range: $110,000 - $130,000\nBenefits\nEmployee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
