Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements.\nJob Description\nIDS is seeking a Senior-Level Python Developer to support a new cybersecurity initiative. The developer will work closely with a small team and mission stakeholders to capture requirements, develop network protocol parsers, create fingerprints and signatures to identify anomalous network activity, and deploy analytics solutions across customer-supported tools and environments.\nKey Duties\nCollaborate with customers to overlay network datasets within an existing architecture using the ABYSS product\nIntegrate parsers and signatures into ABYSS and develop tradecraft for front-end sensors\nDevelop parsing and processing of network protocols to populate customer data repositories\nPrototype and develop analytic workflows to automate profiling of network traffic and activity\nDevelop detection and alerting capabilities based on anomalous network behavior and network changes\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in computer science with eight (8) years of relevant experience, or equivalent\nProficiency in Python, C++, and Spark\nExperience with Jupyter Notebooks\nExperience using JIRA, Confluence, and Git/GitLab\nKnowledge of customer corporate tools and data repositories\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nCompensation\nSalary range: $155,000 - $175,000\nBenefits\nEmployee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
