# Lead Java Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead Java Engineer to help us build and scale a cloud PBX solution. We expect you to have strong problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, initiative, and responsible. Your daily duties will include implementing different SIP proxy features using Java/C , with respect to high availability and scalability. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders and actively participate in product planning and sprint backlog meetings. Take responsibility for the full software development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements through coding, deployment, and maintenance. Develop and maintain technical design, architecture, and troubleshooting documentation. Demonstrate a technology-agnostic mindset and continuously explore new technologies and approaches. Analyze and interpret stack traces, crashes, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks. Implement patches, backports, or enhancements directly in Asterisk source code. Develop custom modules (C), when needed. Work with Linux systems (systemd, networking, tuning, kernel parameters). Work with cloud environments (GCP preferred). Participate in architecture decisions.
