In this role, you'll work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other team members to ensure our web and mobile applications meet functional, usability, and quality expectations.You'll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle by understanding requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and supporting the team in delivering reliable, high-quality releases.\nResponsibilities\nReview business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand testing scope and requirements.\nCreate, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating business requirements, and assisting with issue resolution.\nTest responsive web applications across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.\nPerform basic mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.\nPerform API testing using Postman or similar tools, including validating request/response data and basic API behavior.\nExecute basic database validation using SQL queries to verify data integrity and application behavior.\nIdentify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.\nCollaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to investigate, communicate, and resolve defects.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nPrepare and maintain test execution reports and communicate testing progress, results, and risks to relevant stakeholders.\nAssist in identifying testing risks, coverage gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.\nEnsure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines and defined quality standards.\nMaintain relevant test documentation, evidence, and defect records throughout the testing lifecycle.\nStay updated on QA practices, testing tools, and emerging testing approaches, and apply relevant learnings to improve testing effectiveness.\nRequirements\n1-3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing.\nGood understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing fundamentals.\nHands-on experience in functional and regression testing.\nExperience with integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nBasic experience in UAT and test scenario/test case preparation.\nHands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.\nBasic knowledge of SQL and database validation.\nExperience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers and environments.\nBasic understanding of mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.\nFamiliarity with Jira or similar defect/issue management tools.\nGood understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.\nBasic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser Developer Tools.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.\nGood communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to learn
