Our permanent location is approximately 25 minutes away at Brooks, 7515 Inner Circle Dr., San Antonio, 78235. The position is also 100% in-office and does not offer remote work. \nKey Responsibilities: \nRead, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate and assemble materials and equipment.\nUse multiple measuring devices such as scales, feeler gauges, rulers, micrometers, calipers tee square, machinist square and tape measure to accurately and precisely perform work.\nMount electrical components include circuit breakers, switches, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices and/or all other related switchgear electrical devices.\nLayout and frame enclosures\nDrilling, tapping, punching, mounting and installing bus bar sections per drawings or instructions\nPerform metal corrections and touch-up painting as directed\nInstall and/or modify various metallic or non-metallic items and components\nComply with all safety, quality and work rules, guidelines and regulations\nThe candidate will be expected to perform additionalduties as assigned to support the team and organization(training provided)\nFlexible and adaptable team player who operateswith agility and resourcefulness and thrives in an often-changing environment. You will be operatingwith a start-up mindset and must be willing to help wherever needed - \"not my job\" is an unacceptable response. \nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma\n3 + years of experience in mechanical assembly using mechanical equipment\nAbility to interpret drawings, work independently\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nAbility to work quickly with your hands while maintaining accuracy and high quality\nStrong work ethic and motivation to learn\nMust be a team player\nCompetencies:\nTechnical Capability\nProblem Solve/Analysis\nLearning Orientation\nTeamwork Orientation\nTime Management\nAttention to detail and thoroughness\nPhysical/Mental/Environmental:\nPhysical Demands:\nActivities: Sitting - 5% Walking/Standing - 95%\nLifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.\nBending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.\nVision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.\nMental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nEnvironment: Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled.
