We’re looking for an engineer like you to lead a U.S. Space Force team of physicists, systems engineers, and software developers as they develop efficient and effective software to support both U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy end users.\nIn this role, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for evaluating physics-based concepts, designing and testing software, and implementing end-to-end solutions. You will leverage experience with radio frequency (RF) and space weather concepts and translate scientific needs into scalable, mission-driven software solutions. This role requires hands-on ability to read, program, and review code across the stack, while also providing strategic direction and mentorship to engineering and science personnel. You will collaborate across disciplines, communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, and drive alignment between scientific objectives and software development efforts. Work with us as we develop software solutions to support our service members abroad.\nJob Location:\nPeterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\nExperience with scientific concepts related to radio frequency (RF), the electromagnetic spectrum, or space weather\nExperience with full-stack development\nExperience interacting with technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels \nExperience leading highly technical teams\nAbility to read and program in Python, JavaScript, or C/C++, and in frameworks such as React, Angular, REST, or GraphQL\nAbility to coordinate and drive outcomes across various cross-functional teams such as science, software, hardware, and systems engineering\nTop Secret clearance\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with radar systems or radar modeling and signal processing\nExperience working with Kubernetes or software factories\nExperience with requirements analysis\nAbility to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks\nPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skills\nTS/SCI clearance\nMaster’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering a plus\nAbility to obtain a Security+ Certification within 2 months of hire date\nClearance:\n· Top Secret clearance is required.\nBenefits\nAs a growing small engineering firm, IESE Solutions focuses on people and customers and delivery of uninterrupted high-quality work.
