For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.\nJOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS\nPenn State Lehigh Valley is seeking multiple part-time lecturers to teach Security and Risk Analysis and Cyber Analytics and Operations undergraduate courses within its Cyber Analytics and Operations (CAO) degree program for the 2026-2027 academic year.\nWe are seeking lecturers with previous teaching experience and/or work experience capable of teaching courses in any of the following: Cyber defense, malware analytics, networking and telecommunications, risk analysis and/or management, network security, and cyber law and policy.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum qualification is a master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field\nDuties include teaching one to three undergraduate level courses (1-3 credits each up to a maximum of 9 credits per semester each spring, and/or fall semester depending on expertise and needs). Additional duties may vary by assignment.\nTeaching duties may require teaching day, evening or weekend classes depending on the needs of the class being taught.\n Candidates must be available to teach in-person courses.\nCourses are primarily taught using an in-person (on campus) modality.
