For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.\nJOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS\nPenn State Beaver is accepting applications for a part-time instructor to teach EET 114, Electrical Circuits II, and its corresponding laboratory course, EET 118, during the spring 2027 semester. This course and corresponding lab introduce students to direct and alternating current circuit analysis, including Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, mesh-current analysis, and nodal analysis. Additional topics include capacitance, inductance, magnetic circuits, resonance, power, polyphase circuits, sinusoidal excitation, and AC reactance. The laboratory component reinforces these concepts through practical circuit construction, measurement, testing, and analysis.
