This role supports the Assistant Manager and Director by coordinating staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and with excellent customer service.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOperations & Facility ReadinessOversee daily operations and ensure assigned facilities are clean and guest-ready. \nCoordinate turnovers, cleaning priorities, seasonal changeovers, and daily assignments. \nConduct inspections of guest rooms, buildings, meeting spaces, and other assigned areas and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly. \nSupport room and meeting space setups, furniture moves, and other operational needs as required. \n\nTeam Leadership & AccountabilitySupervise and support team leads and staff. \nAssign, prioritize, and monitor daily work across Housekeeping, Laundry, and Service Technician teams. \nProvide training, coaching, and accountability for performance, attendance, safety, and departmental procedures. \nAdjust staffing and assignments based on operational needs. \nSupport training in cleaning standards, chemical use, equipment, PPE, safety procedures, and meeting space setups. \n\nQuality & ResourcesEnsure consistent quality and adherence to departmental standards. \nMonitor supplies, equipment, linens, inventory, and assigned work areas. \nReport repairs and facility needs and ensure work orders are entered and followed through in CMMS. \nEnsure required vehicle and equipment inspections are completed. \nSupport the organization and cleanliness of storage areas, warehouses, vehicles, and equipment. \n\nCommunication, Safety & SupportCommunicate room status, workload, staffing needs, and operational concerns to the Assistant Manager and Director. \nCoordinate closely with Housekeeping, Laundry, Service Technicians, and other departments to accomplish daily priorities. \nEnsure safe work practices and proper use of chemicals, PPE, equipment, and vehicles. \nProvide excellent internal and external customer service. \nSupport and participate in staff spiritual life activities. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. \n2-3 years of housekeeping, accommodations, hospitality, or related operational experience preferred. \nPrevious lead or supervisory experience preferred. \nExperience coordinating staff and daily workflow preferred. \nAbility to utilize Microsoft applications, CMMS, and other operational systems. \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nUphold and support the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Forest Home. \nDemonstrate a servant heart and Christ-like attitude and actively participate in staff spiritual life activities. \nMaintain a professional attitude through performance, appearance, and demeanor. \nStrong housekeeping experience with demonstrated leadership skills. \nKnowledge of housekeeping standards, safety procedures, and proper chemical use. \nSelf-starter with strong communication, organization, time management, and collaboration skills. \nAbility to lead with accountability and support while maintaining high-quality, detailed work. \nExcellent people service skills with the ability to serve without compromising Forest Home standards, policies, or procedures. \nRegular, reliable attendance and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. \nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds daily and perform the physical requirements of the position. \nValid driver's license with the ability to safely operate company vehicles. \nSigned statement of faith. \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDirectly supervises assigned Accommodations leads and staff and is responsible for day-to-day workflow, quality, training, and accountability.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
