Your potential is our inspiration.\nWhere You'll Make a Difference\nAct as the primary local finance coordinator and point of contact for statutory reporting, compliance, and controllership activities across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, working closely with the Finance Director.\n\nCoordinate statutory audits, manage auditor requests, and ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation and audit requirements in partnership with the Finance Director and key stakeholders.\n\nSupport the preparation, review, and submission of annual financial statements, disclosures, and statutory reporting packages.\n\nPartner with Tax, Legal, Shared Service Center, and external auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting deadlines.\n\nMonitor and follow up on tax authority correspondence, tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and statutory filing requirements.\n\nPerform monthly general ledger reviews, balance sheet analyses, and financial statement variance assessments.\n\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while ensuring key account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.\n\nFacilitate finance review meetings with business stakeholders and support the Finance Director on accounting, compliance, and reporting matters.\n\nCoordinate Board of Directors approval processes, statutory filings, governance activities, and legal entity compliance requirements.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives within controllership, audit coordination, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.\n\nWhat Makes You the Right Fit\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, audit coordination, or a related finance function.\n\nStrong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and internal controls.\n\nExperience coordinating with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.\n\nKnowledge of local accounting and statutory reporting requirements within the Nordic region.\n\nProven ability to coordinate activities across multiple countries and diverse stakeholder groups.\n\nStrong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nProficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.\n\nFluent English language skills, both verbal and written.\n\nHow Would You Stand Out?\nExperience in a multinational corporate environment with regional or global responsibilities.\n\nFamiliarity with Nordic tax regulations and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\n\nExperience supporting statutory audits, annual financial statements, and regulatory compliance processes.\n\nContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to streamline processes and enhance financial controls.\n\nWhy Choose Us?\nHybrid working environment with work-life balance flexibility.\n\nOpportunity to support multiple Nordic markets and gain broad regional exposure.\n\nCollaborative and international work environment.\n\nProfessional onboarding and ongoing learning opportunities.\n\nCareer development within a global organization.\n\nCompetitive total rewards package including local benefits.\n\nFor your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners.
