This position is located in South Brunswick - USA and is for the Second Shift and Third Shift.\nWhere You’ll Make a Difference\nThe Powders Production Operator reports to the Senior Team Lead and will be responsible for compounding solid and liquid flavors by weighing, blending mixing and sifting/milling, and packing of chemicals by following instructions, steps, and information on shop floor papers. \nFlavor Production Worker will also be responsible for filling flavors as per instruction of shop floor paper. \nMaintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment, PPE and proactively improve the safety culture of department.\nMaintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to GMP with knowledge of food safety and HACCP programs.\nWhat Makes You the Right Fit\nAble to work efficiently utilizing sound technical skills in weighing both liquid & powders accurately on an analytical balance.\nAbility to follow detailed instructions in the compounding of flavors.\nAfter finishing compounding, back flush the quantity of raw materials used from inventor in systems including SAP and IFFMan.\nFill flavor samples and finish goods containers as per paperwork and process in the inventory system.\nPrint and put required labels on stock containers, QC samples and samples for shipping.\nReplenish inventory as necessary.\nMust participate cross training programs including but not limited to (Rototherm/Extrusion Operations)\nAbility and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, recommend improvements, and help other departments as and when required.\nHow Would You Stand Out?\nHigh school graduate or equivalent.\nBasic math, reading, computer skills, and able to read English.\nMust be safety and quality focused.\nMust be able to use of scale having accuracy of 0.001 grams and weigh small amounts of material accurately.\nAble to understand and use the metric system, including conversion of weights.\nMust be able to follow directions and understand Standard Operating Procedures.\nAbility to wear respirator.\nAbility to operate forklift and other mechanical equipment.\nAbility to lift 25 kg containers and handle 200kg drums and 50 kg bags.\nAbility to multi-task in a fast paced, high odor, team oriented environment.\nAbility to work Monday to Friday, 2nd (3:30pm-11:50pm) shift hours with required early, late and Saturday OT.\n2 years in chemical process manufacturing experience preferably for food manufacturing plant.\nPowders compounding experience preferred.\nSAP and IFFMan experience a plus.\nWhy Choose Us?\nProfessional onboarding process\nExcellent benefits for our employees\nTraining opportunities\nLearning and development programs\nIFF is committed to attracting, retaining, and engaging high-performing employees.
