This role is ideal for someone who loves learning new technologies, experimenting with AI, and finding better ways to solve business problems. You will work across a variety of systems, applications, and workflows using AI, automation, and software to eliminate manual work, improve decision-making, and increase team productivity. Salesforce is one of the platforms you will support, but this role is much broader than any single system. Working alongside Commercial leadership, Sales, Product, and Operations, you will help turn ideas into practical tools that create measurable business impact. If you are naturally curious, enjoy figuring things out independently, and are energized by creating solutions that make other people more effective, we want to hear from you.\nROLE COMMITMENTS\nDesign, build, and maintain AI-powered tools, automations, and workflows that improve how Commercial teams operate.\nIdentify repetitive work and implement technology solutions that save time and increase productivity.\nLearn and support business systems across Commercial, quickly becoming proficient in new technologies as business needs evolve.\nPartner with business leaders across each function to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions.\nEvaluate emerging AI tools and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making.\nPartner with Sales to improve workflows across the sales cycle - from lead capture, qualification, and conversion to opportunity management, quoting, and closing - using AI and automation to strengthen follow-up and pipeline visibility.\nConfigure, maintain, and optimize business applications including CRM platforms such as Salesforce and other commercial technologies.\nBuild dashboards, reporting, and lightweight applications that help teams make better decisions.\nSupport integrations between business systems using APIs, automation platforms, and low-code tools.\nDocument solutions, maintain technical documentation, and ensure new tools are easy to support and scale.\nStay current on rapidly evolving AI capabilities and bring practical ideas back to the business.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nBuild and maintain AI-powered tools, automations, and workflows that improve Commercial team operations.\nIdentify repetitive manual work and implement technology solutions that save time and increase productivity.\nQuickly become proficient in new technologies and business systems as needs evolve.\nTranslate operational challenges from business leaders into practical technical solutions.\nConfigure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce and other commercial business applications.\nBuild dashboards, reports, and lightweight applications that support better decision-making.\nSupport system integrations using APIs, automation platforms, and low-code tools.\nMaintain clear technical documentation to ensure solutions are scalable and supportable.\nEvaluate and recommend emerging AI tools that improve efficiency and decision-making across the organization.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nEducation and Basic Qualifications\nYou love learning new software and can become productive in unfamiliar systems quickly.\nYou have built automations, AI tools, scripts, or applications that solved real business problems.\nYou are comfortable writing code in Python, JavaScript, or another modern language.\nYou have experimented with LLMs, AI agents, or workflow automation tools.\nYou naturally look for opportunities to simplify work and eliminate repetitive tasks.\nYou are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teammates.\nYou are curious, resourceful, and enjoy figuring things out independently.\nYou understand the sales process, including lead management, lead-to-opportunity conversion, pipeline stages, and the activities that move opportunities toward a closed sale.\nAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.\n1-3 years of experience building software, automations, AI solutions, or business applications.\nExperience with one or more CRM, ERP, or enterprise business systems; Salesforce experience is helpful but not required.\nFamiliarity with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation platforms.\nExperience using modern AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.\nExperience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or comparable programming languages.\nWorking knowledge of Salesforce CPQ including pricing rules, product catalogs, quote templates, and approval workflows a plus.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies and apply them to real business challenges.\nDISCLAIMER\nCompensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan, and exemption status.\nAlthough we currently may consider hiring in the states listed below, not all positions are available in all locations, and work in a particular state is not guaranteed.
