This will include preparing and organizing various legal documents. \nHe/She will provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in direct interactions with business leaders, legal counsel, and other key stakeholders. \nHe/She will focus on collaboration and building positive relationships both internally and externally and have an exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizational skills.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nThe Paralegal shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:\nConduct legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and legal databases.\nAssists with a wide range of legal functions including the preparation, review, and revision of corporate documents, meeting materials, minutes, agency, and regulatory filings, licensure applications, contracts, including review, drafting, and management of Services Agreements, MSAs, NDAs, BAAs, amendments, and other legal documents.\nProofreads and edits legal documents as needed.\nResearches laws and regulations for a variety of jurisdictions.\nActs as a liaison between the Legal department and internal stakeholders (Compliance, Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Operations, Executive Leadership, etc.) to proactively identify issues, assist with project management, and facilitate timely contract execution.\nAssists with process improvement initiatives related to contract management and workflows.\nSupports the Legal and Finance team on special projects and general administrative duties as assigned.\nMonitors proposed legislation and regulations related to healthcare.\nOther duties as may be assigned.\nQualifications:\nParalegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, is preferred but not required.\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience as a paralegal and contracts specialist, preferably in a healthcare or corporate legal environment is required.
