Immediate start required. \nReports to: PMO Manager\nBased: London (Hybrid)\nJob Purpose: This fixed term contract will lead and oversee a range of technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and within budget. The role will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, working across functions and applying strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills to achieve successful project outcomes.\nThe team: The role reports to the PMO Manager and is supported by a Project Support Officer (PSO), with no line management responsibility for the PSO.\nThe Technology team comprises three key areas: Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications and Information Management. The role will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and colleagues across these areas on cross-functional projects and initiatives.\nPrincipal accountabilities:\nProject planning and delivery\nDefine and agree project objectives and deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines and milestones.\nIdentify resource requirements and engage teams and vendors to fulfil project deliverables, identifying and escalating gaps.\nCoordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders, including IT/Technology, Web and PMO.\nMonitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing risks, issues, dependencies and deviations from the project plan.\nEnsure revisions to project objectives, deliverables and plans are reviewed and approved.\nManage project budgets, track expenditure and report on financial performance.\nStakeholder engagement and governance\nEngage and manage stakeholders, including external vendors, at all levels, providing regular updates and facilitating decision-making.\nEnsure projects adhere to the Foundation’s policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.\nWork closely with the Foundation’s Project Management Office (PMO), adopting its methodologies and ways of working.\nOrganise and chair project meetings, workshops and steering group sessions.\nPrepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.\nTesting and implementation\nDesign, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including developing test scripts, recording results and providing clear, actionable insights to inform go/no-go decisions.\nEnsure unit and integration testing is carried out thoroughly, with timely resolution of defects and stakeholder sign-off.\nOversee change management activities, including communications, training and post-implementation support documentation.\nChampion continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.\nSkills and Attributes:\nExceptional project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects.\nExcellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.\nStrong team ethic; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong influencing and relationship-building skills across functions and organisational levels, including stakeholder engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution.\nAbility to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative and proactive approach to making progress through complexity and uncertainty.\nQualifications and experience:\nProven experience managing technology initiatives and implementing technology solutions, including complex, multi-stakeholder projects.\nExperience managing system implementation projects, preferably in a similar industry or environment.\nExperience managing technology vendor relationships.\nExperience managing technology change and supporting or leading organisational change initiatives, with a strong understanding of change management frameworks and best practices.\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, such as PRINCE2, Agile and those established by PMI.\nExperience working closely with internal governance and oversight groups, such as a PMO.\nExperience designing, managing or overseeing UAT cycles, including documenting test cases and reporting outcomes.\nA professional project management certification would be desirable.\nExperience working in non-profit, international organisations or standard-setting bodies would be desirable.\nApplication closing date: 23rd October 2026\nPlease note that while we have a closing date for this application, we reserve the right to interview candidates and potentially close the role early should we find a suitable candidate.\nAbout us\nAt the IFRS Foundation, we believe better information leads to better decisions.
