Job Description

IFS is looking for a hands-on Digital Designer to join its Global Digital Marketing team. This role is responsible for day-to-day design delivery across IFS digital properties, including ifs.com, our flagship event Unleashed, and sub-brands such as Nexus Black.

Reporting into the Marketing Web Delivery Manager, you will produce high-quality, on-brand designs using established design systems and Figma component libraries. As part of an AI-first company, you will also have access to modern design, web, and productivity tools such as Claude, Canva, Midjourney, Adobe, Figma, Lovable, Sitecore, Framer, WordPress, and more, helping you accelerate ideation, iteration, and production.

This role is suitable for a designer with existing digital or web design experience who is ready to work directly with the business, the Brand team, external agencies, and fellow designers. Design direction, strategic decisions, and major UI remain owned by the Marketing Web Delivery Manager, so the focus of this role is strong execution, consistent delivery, and hands-on support where needed, including website content editing to facilitate and speed up delivery when required. Exposure to UX is an advantage, but it is not the core of this role.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

• Produce day-to-day digital designs across ifs.com, our flagship event Unleashed, and sub-brands such as Nexus Black, taking briefs through to production-ready output.
• Apply and help maintain the IFS digital design system and Figma component libraries, ensuring work is consistent, accessible, and on-brand.
• Support design-to-production acceleration by turning designs into templates and components that web editors and developers can build quickly.
• Use AI-first design, web, and productivity tools, including Claude, Canva, Midjourney, Adobe, Figma, Lovable, Sitecore, Framer, WordPress, and more, to support ideation, iteration, and production, and share useful approaches with the wider team.
• Work directly with the Brand team, Content, other designers, and external agencies to gather requirements and keep output aligned to brand and tone of voice.
• Carry out website content editing in Sitecore to facilitate and speed up delivery when required, helping the team stay hands-on and responsive.
• Take design direction and major UI decisions from the Marketing Web Delivery Manager, delivering against them with minimal rework.
• Prepare and hand over clean design assets to IT and delivery teams via the Marketing Web Delivery Manager, keeping files, naming, and versioning tidy.
• Support quality assurance of design output, checking that what is built matches the intended design and flagging issues for correction.
• Contribute to a growing set of reusable components, templates, and patterns that improve overall team speed and quality.

Qualifications

Required Competence

• Strong visual design skills across layout, typography, and modern web interfaces, with a good eye for detail.
• Solid, hands-on Figma skills, comfortable working within existing component libraries and a design system rather than building governance from scratch.
• Practical experience using AI, design, web, and productivity tools such as Claude, Canva, Midjourney, Adobe, Figma, Lovable, Sitecore, Framer, WordPress, or similar in a real workflow.
• Able to take a brief and clear direction and turn it into clean, consistent, production-ready output at pace.
• Comfortable engaging directly with the business, Brand team, agencies, and other designers, and confident asking the right questions to get a brief right.
• Willing and able to carry out website content editing to facilitate and speed up delivery when required.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage several small pieces of work at once.
• A self-starter with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset, keen to learn and grow.

Education & Experience

Essential:

• 2-3 years' experience in digital or web design.
• Strong working proficiency in Figma (must-have).
• Hands-on experience with AI, design, web, or productivity tooling, such as Claude, Canva, Midjourney, Adobe, Figma, Lovable, Sitecore, Framer, WordPress, or similar.
• A portfolio showing clean, on-brand digital and web design work.
• Comfortable working to brand standards, design systems, and component libraries.
• Good communication and stakeholder skills, able to work directly with business and creative teams.
• Willingness to carry out website content editing to facilitate and speed up delivery when required.

Desirable:

• Exposure to UX practices and user-centred design.
• Some experience with a web CMS, ideally Sitecore.
• Awareness of web performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG) basics.
• Experience working in international or distributed teams.
• Familiarity with delivery and project tools such as Jira and Asana.
