The Project Delivery Manager acts as a trusted advisor to customers, combining strong warehouse operations knowledge, deep product understanding, and leadership skills to deliver successful project outcomes and drive measurable business value.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership, capable of leading cross-functional teams while aligning customer requirements with Softeon’s platform capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead delivery of full lifecycle implementations, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, and business requirements\nAnalyze customer operations and guide solution design using Softeon’s methodology to align business requirements with system capabilities\nAct as a primary client-facing leader, providing consultative guidance on warehouse operations, process improvements, and solution adoption\nCollaborate with Customer Project Managers and cross-functional teams to plan, assign, and manage project tasks and deliverables\nOversee system configuration, testing strategy, and validation across Softeon solutions (WMS, WES, and related applications)\nLead customer workshops, design sessions, and operational discussions to drive optimal solution outcomes\nGuide development of test strategies and support customers in creating and executing test scenarios aligned with real-world operations\nEnsure effective deployment planning, including release management, change control, and readiness assessments\nMonitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, and proactively address issues to maintain delivery momentum\nCoordinate training strategies, including train-the-trainer programs and end-user readiness\nProvide high-level solution estimates and support scope evaluation for enhancements or changes\nServe as a mentor to team members, supporting skill development and fostering growth within the Solution Delivery organization\nCollaborate with product and engineering teams to provide feedback and drive continuous improvement of Softeon’s solutions\nQualifications and Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, MIS, or related field\n6-8+ years of experience in WMS or supply chain software implementation and delivery\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution processes, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control\nDemonstrated experience leading complex software implementation projects and cross-functional teams\nDeep understanding of supply chain execution systems, including WMS, WES, and warehouse automation integrations\nExperience translating business requirements into solution design and system configuration strategies\nStrong understanding of system integrations (ERP, TMS, OMS) and data formats (EDI, XML, APIs)\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly\nAbility to lead meetings, facilitate workshops, and drive decision-making with internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to travel for client engagements as needed, up to 50%\nUS Citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States\nLocation:\nReston, VA or Atlanta, GA (hybrid)\nSofteon is an equal opportunity employer.
