Join us at IG - the future gets built here.\nYour team:\nThis role is part of our infrastructure services team -- they are responsible for virtualisation, storage & backup systems.\nYour role in the Team's Success:\nOversee and support virtualisation, storage, and backup systems. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and troubleshoot complex problems.\nWhat you'll do:\nMaintain infrastructure by regularly updating to the latest software versions. Monitor vulnerabilities closely and implement timely patching and firmware upgrades. Adopt a proactive approach to minimise incidents and issues.\nWhat you'll need for this role:\nKey Qualification Requirements:\n10+ years' experience across virtualisation, backup & storage.\nExperience of mid- to large enterprise environments with 1000's of servers.\nKnowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI\nDeploy and manage Nutanix HCI clusters (AOS, AHV, Prism Central/Element).\nPerform upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management (LCM).\nGood general infrastructure knowledge, including networking.\nTroubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation layers.\nAutomate tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform or Ansible.\nTeam player with good communication skills\nCreate and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.\nAct as an escalation point for critical production issues\nDemonstrates a proactive approach coupled with an ongoing curiosity for continuous improvement.\nThe Perks\nIt really is more than a job.
