We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.\nThe bar is high - bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next.\nJoin us at IG - the future gets built here.\nAbout the role:\nThis role owns the product direction, roadmap and outcomes for Performance Engineering and Quality Engineering within Infrastructure & Operations. You will shape shared capabilities that help engineering teams test earlier, detect risk sooner and release reliable, performant software with confidence.\nYou will work at the intersection of specialist performance and quality engineers, software delivery teams, platform engineers and technology leadership. The role combines strong product management with sufficient technical depth to understand how automated testing, non-functional testing and quality controls integrate with CI/CD pipelines and the wider software delivery lifecycle.\nYour role in the Team’s Success:\nPerformance Engineering builds reusable components for performance testing and acceptance environments, including pipeline integrations, load generation, mocking, ephemeral environments and observability. Quality Engineering provides scalable test solutions, quality tooling, engineering metrics, contract testing, acceptance testing and synthetic monitoring.\nYour focus is to turn these capabilities into accessible, measurable internal products that solve real engineering problems. You will bridge the needs of platform builders and consuming teams, while engineering leads retain ownership of technical design and day-to-day delivery.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDefine and own a coherent product strategy and prioritised roadmap across Performance Engineering and Quality Engineering.\nPosition performance and quality capabilities as internal products, with clear users, problems, propositions, service boundaries and measurable outcomes.\nBalance strategic investment, reliability improvements, adoption work and emerging engineering requirements using evidence and agreed prioritisation principles.\nConnect the roadmap to broader engineering goals, including faster feedback, safer releases, improved delivery performance and reduced production risk.\nDiscovery & stakeholder engagement\nRun structured discovery with software engineers, quality engineers, performance engineers, platform teams and engineering leaders to identify high-value problems.\nTranslate user needs, delivery constraints and technical risks into clear product requirements, outcomes and prioritised backlog items.\nPartner with engineering leads and architects to validate feasibility, understand trade-offs and sequence work without prescribing the technical solution.\nBuild alignment across stakeholders, communicate decisions clearly and maintain transparency on product direction, progress, dependencies and risks.\nDelivery, backlog & planning\nOwn planning and backlog management, ensuring initiatives, features and epics are outcome-led, well defined and ready for engineering delivery.\nWork closely with engineering teams to manage scope, dependencies, trade-offs and release priorities, while engineering leads own execution and technical delivery.\nDefine acceptance criteria and success measures before delivery, and use evidence after release to decide whether to iterate, scale or stop.\nMaintain an actionable roadmap and provide concise, evidence-based updates to senior technology stakeholders.\nAdoption & continuous improvement\nDefine adoption strategies for shared testing frameworks, pipeline components, quality standards, performance tooling and engineering insights.\nReduce friction for consuming teams through clear onboarding paths, enablement, reusable patterns and effective feedback loops.\nMonitor adoption, product health and engineering outcomes, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to improve the product continuously.\nPromote shift-left quality and performance practices so that risks are identified during design and delivery rather than after release.\nWhat you’ll need:\nHands-on background as an automated test engineer, SDET, quality engineer or closely related technical role, with strong understanding of test automation and modern software delivery.\nPractical understanding of how quality functions integrate with CI/CD pipelines, including automated checks, quality gates, test stages, reporting and feedback loops.\nExperience with non-functional testing, particularly performance, load, stress, scalability, reliability or resilience testing.\nProduct management or delivery leadership experience covering product planning, discovery, roadmap and backlog management, stakeholder alignment and delivery prioritisation.\nAbility to translate complex engineering problems into clear product outcomes, requirements, acceptance criteria and success measures.\nGood understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevOps practices, cloud platforms, APIs, observability and modern testing approaches.\nCredibility with engineers: able to discuss architecture, tooling choices, test strategy and delivery-pipeline trade-offs without needing to design or code the solution.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to align specialist teams, platform users and senior technology leaders.\nComfortable using data to prioritise investment and measure impact, while recognising where qualitative discovery is needed.\nExperience driving adoption or behavioural change across engineering teams in a matrix or distributed organisation.\nDesirable\nExperience productising shared test automation frameworks, developer tooling, engineering platforms or internal enablement services.\nFamiliarity with contract testing, mocking, synthetic monitoring, ephemeral test environments and acceptance testing.\nFamiliarity with performance-testing tools such as k6, Gatling or Locust, and with interpreting performance results and regressions.\nExposure to engineering metrics such as DORA, defect trends, test coverage, escaped defects, pipeline pass rates or service-level indicators.\nExperience with GitLab or similar CI/CD platforms, cloud environments, infrastructure as code, containers and observability tooling.\nExperience in a regulated industry such as financial services or fintech.\nWhat success looks like\nSuccess measures will be baselined and agreed with engineering leadership. They are expected to include:\nPerformance and quality capabilities are represented through a clear, current and trusted roadmap.\nPriority services have defined non-functional requirements and meaningful performance baselines.\nPerformance and quality checks are embedded earlier in delivery pipelines, with regressions and defects detected before production.\nAdoption of supported automation frameworks, pipeline components, synthetic monitoring and testing patterns increases across engineering teams.\nFriction to onboard and use shared capabilities reduces, supported by measurable user feedback.\nEngineering leaders have clearer visibility of quality, delivery and performance risks through agreed metrics and insights.\nBacklog and investment decisions are traceable to user problems, strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.\nWhat this role does not own\nDay-to-day delivery management of the Performance Engineering or Quality Engineering teams, which remains with engineering leadership.\nTechnical architecture or detailed test-design decisions, which remain with architects and senior engineers.\nPeople management of engineers.\nExecution of application-team testing on behalf of delivery teams; the role focuses on shared capabilities, standards, adoption and outcomes.\nIncident response or operational ownership for production services.\nIt really is more than a job. We think like a start-up, but we deliver like a FTSE 100 - so the bar is high, and we won't pretend otherwise. We work hybrid, which means three days in the office. We’ll recognise your talent and make sure that you can still have a life - at work, and outside of it. Networks, committees, awards, sports and social clubs, mentorships, volunteering opportunities, extra time off… the list goes on.\nThe perks:\nCompetitive salary & benefits plan\nLife Insurance\nMy Benefit Platform\nMedical Insurance with Medicover\n1 additional day off to celebrate your Birthday\n2 additional days off a year for voluntary work\nShare Plans for Employees\nFree lunch at the office (ones per week)\nEmployee Assistance Program\nWe work in hybrid working model\nNumber of openings\n0","description_format":"text","description_chars":9063,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Health insurance","Hybrid work","Life insurance"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Poland","iso":"PL","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Online Brokerage & Trading Platforms","Forex & CFD Brokers"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-20T11:10:07Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":88,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.876,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":14,"reasons":["conf:26","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-23T05:54:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-23T09:01:08Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":14486,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-24T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":38407},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=38407"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/ig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fig-technical-product-manager-performance-and-quality"}]}
