These include strategic accounts across key industries such as Healthcare, Government, Finance, Manufacturing and Retail, where complex environments demand customized, scalable EUC solutions.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nBe part of a team of Presales engineers providing excellent service to IGEL’s customers and partners in DACH \nTechnical contact for new customers throughout discovery and qualification, and for existing customers to identify and drive expansion opportunities through to post-sales handover.\nBuild and maintain customer and partner rapport through virtual meetings and on-site visits \nAnalysis of customer needs and development of technical solutions \nPrepare, execute, and support proof of concepts \nTake ownership of technical RFIs, RFPs and public tenders and respond in time \nWorks on complex projects \nArchitect solutions by working with the customer directly or in conjunction with both the partner and customer while adhering to the IGEL reference architecture and best practices \nAssist new technology partners to integrate their solution into IGEL OS if required and hand it over to the IGEL Ready team to generate new business \nBecome a Subject Matter Expert in a specific technology stack \nUse of remote tools to demonstrate IGEL’s solutions and to assist customers in troubleshooting issues \nEnsure a clear and professional communication between our teams and the customer \nExecution and pro-active preparation and follow-up of technical product presentations and workshops \nDemonstrate our technology at industry events and tradeshows \nPromote IGEL training offerings, additional IGEL services and IGEL Certifications \nMay assist less-experienced colleagues \nWide latitude for independent judgement \nCollaborate with teams from Development, Customer Engineering, Advanced Services, Sales, Marketing and Leadership to create new technical sales strategies \nCommunication of customer / market requirements to the Product Management and Development \nContinue education by attending training sessions and reading technical documentation \nWork through technical issues at the operating system level \nManage technical issues, solutions, and sales opportunity progress by creating cases within IGEL’s helpdesk system \nManage case escalation to maintain forward movement on sales opportunities \nAbility and willingness to travel as needed \nEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\nPersonal skills\nHighly skilled with extensive proficiency \nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, sales teams, and management \nStrong presentation skills \nA team player who is influential and builds good working relationships across all levels \nFlexibility, integrity, and creative problem-solving skills are imperative to be successful in this role \nVery good ability to understand and explain complex technical issues in an easy way \nAbility to listen effectively and show patience while working with customers, colleagues, and partners \nAbility to adapt to new technologies quickly \nAbility to work independently under minimal supervision \nFluent in English and German\nTechnical skills\nMinimum of six to nine years Presales Engineer experience required \nWorking knowledge of Linux Operating Systems \nIn-depth knowledge of IGEL’s products and solutions, especially IGEL OS, the Universal Management Suite and the IGEL Cloud Gateway or other Thin Client/Endpoint operating systems is a plus \nWorking knowledge of Windows Operating Systems \nExperience in Remote Desktop Services, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS, Citrix, VMware Horizon environments \nKnowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, AD, etc. \nGood understanding of the solutions offered by IGEL’s technology partners\nInterested?
