Job Purpose\nThe HSE Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures across the company's operations and real estate development projects. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards while promoting a safe working environment for employees, contractors, consultants, and visitors.\n2. Key Responsibilities\nA. Health & Safety ComplianceImplement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across the company's offices and project sites.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company requirements.\n\nConduct regular HSE inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.\n\nPrepare risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective actions.\n\nFollow up on the implementation of corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety standards.\n\nEnsure that employees, contractors, and visitors follow established health and safety procedures.\n\nB. Construction Site SafetyConduct regular site visits to monitor safety conditions and ensure compliance with approved HSE plans.\n\nMonitor contractors' and subcontractors' compliance with HSE requirements.\n\nEnsure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site safety rules.\n\nMonitor high-risk activities, including working at heights, excavation, lifting operations, electrical work, and confined-space activities, where applicable.\n\nCheck the availability and proper use of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, first-aid facilities, and other safety equipment.\n\nCoordinate with project management, consultants, contractors, and site engineers to address safety concerns.\n\nReport unsafe conditions and practices and recommend immediate corrective actions.\n\nC. Environmental ManagementMonitor compliance with environmental requirements at project sites and company facilities.\n\nIdentify potential environmental risks related to construction activities, waste disposal, dust, noise, and hazardous materials.\n\nEnsure proper waste management practices and promote environmental awareness.\n\nReport environmental incidents and follow up on corrective measures.\n\nD. Incident Management & Emergency PreparednessInvestigate workplace accidents, near misses, and safety incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.\n\nPrepare incident reports and maintain accurate records of HSE-related incidents.\n\nSupport the development and implementation of emergency response and evacuation plans.\n\nCoordinate emergency drills and ensure employees are familiar with emergency procedures.\n\nMonitor incident trends and recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks.\n\nE. Training & AwarenessConduct HSE induction sessions for new employees, contractors, and relevant site personnel.\n\nDeliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions when required.\n\nPromote a strong safety culture across the company's offices and project sites.\n\nEnsure employees and contractors understand and follow relevant safety procedures.\n\nF.
