The company has been named Insurtech of the Year at the Asia Fintech Awards in 2023 and 2024, and won twin Insurance Asia Awards in 2025.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced AI Native Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable with both\nfront-end and back-end programming to join our dynamic team.\nAs a Full Stack Engineer, you will work closely with the Product, Design, Data Science, DevOps\nand Engineering teams to build highly scalable and highly available web applications. You will\nhave end-to-end ownership of features-from understanding the problem and designing the\nsolution to implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.\nWe are also looking for engineers who are truly AI-native: people who use AI as a force\nmultiplier in their day-to-day engineering work, while retaining strong technical judgment and\nownership of the solutions they build.\nAI-Native Engineering\n- Use AI coding tools as a core part of the software development workflow to accelerate\ndesign, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.\n- Apply strong engineering judgment when working with AI-generated code: validate\nassumptions, identify incorrect or unsafe suggestions, and confidently override or rewrite\nAI output when required.\n- Use AI effectively across the full development lifecycle while maintaining ownership of\ncode quality, architecture, security, performance, and reliability.\n- Continuously explore and adopt new AI-powered engineering tools and workflows that\nimprove development velocity without compromising engineering standards.\nJob Responsibilities\n- Truly AI-native: Proficient in using AI coding tools to accelerate development and\nproblem-solving, with the engineering judgment to recognize when AI-generated code,\nassumptions, or solutions are incorrect and override them when necessary.\n- Full-stack engineering capabilities: Comfortable owning and delivering across the full\nstack-including front-end, back-end, databases, testing, deployment, observability, and\nmaintenance-with AI assistance.\n- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and the ability to\nindependently reason about architecture, trade-offs, debugging, performance, security,\nand reliability, rather than relying solely on AI-generated solutions.\n- Proficiency in AI-assisted coding practices to increase development velocity and\nexperience integrating AI-driven features or APIs into modern web applications.\n- Work closely with fellow Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists and Designers to\ndefine, refine and implement features across the product line.\n- Work closely with DevOps to build frameworks and tools, define standards (e.g. API\ncontracts), and improve overall development efficiency through practices such as CI/CD\nand codebase hygiene.\n- Work on complex engineering problems to improve the scalability, security and reliability\nof our platform.\n- Design, build and maintain high-quality, production-grade software across the front end,\nback end, databases and supporting services.\n- Take end-to-end ownership of features, including architecture, implementation, testing,\ndeployment, monitoring, debugging and ongoing maintenance.\nRequirements\nBachelors in Computer Science or other related Degrees.\nMin. 4 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in tech start-up is a plus.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, and the JavaScript object model\nExperience with TypeScript would be advantageous\nFamiliarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools\nExperience with AWS, RESTful/RPC services, C++/Java/Golang and related system programming languages.
