This role combines expertise in machine learning and software engineering to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions. You will own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, integrate models into applications, and ensure optimal performance in production environments.\nYou will join a team supporting the company’s operations. This role will be crucial in the planning and execution of projects and driving customer satisfaction through delivering Data and AI solutions. As an AI Engineer you will be responsible for understanding, planning, and communicating technical opportunities and limitations to the team, working with both DnA team members and customers to satisfy customer needs.\nTo be successful in this role you must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals with varying levels of technical experience. You must be organized, have strong time management and planning abilities. Experience with Python, Snowflake, Github, Azure, and software engineering lifecycle is a plus.\nResponsibilities\nEnd-to-End Lifecycle: Prepare, select models, train, and evaluate performance.\nApplication Integration: Embed AI models into frontend and backend systems.\nPerformance Optimization: Reduce latency and cost, keeping accuracy and reliability.\nDeployment & Observability: Collaborate with Technical Lead to ensure robust deployment and monitoring of AI solutions.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong foundation in machine learning fundamentals and software engineering principles.\nProficiency in Python, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and application frameworks.\nAbility to design, implement, and evaluate models for real-world business use cases.\nExperience with APIs, microservices, and system integration.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, math, statistics, or similar.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with MLOps practices for scalable deployment\nExperience in government or defense projects with security compliance\nKnowledge of observability tools and performance monitoring\nExtensive knowledge of Snowflake, Python, Azure, GitHub\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nCustomer service focused with strong consulting ability\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment\nSalary\n80k+ to align with education and experience.\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. \nIgnite Digital is a Small Business committed to providing exceptional service to government agencies at competitive prices.
