The individual will serve as first point of contact to support employee inquiries, communicate policies and procedures to applicants and employees, assist with general HR administration, including, but not limited to: new hire onboarding, off boarding, benefit programs, personnel records, pre-employment reference checks, training programs and other special projects as assigned.\nScope of Responsibilities:\nUnder guidance of company management, administer HR policies and procedures including but not limited to; compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, training and development.\nMaintain employee personnel records in compliance with labor law regulations.\nPromptly handle HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, while referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate management.\nMaintain current knowledge of federal, state and local labor law.\nCoordinate open enrollment for employee benefits programs, benefit changes, and training.\nAdminister on-boarding and orientation for new employees.\nAdminister off-boarding for separating employees.\nLead and conduct management/employee training curriculum\nAdminister the Learning Management System (Udemy) to facilitate training program, tracking, and report analysis.\nMonitor employee morale and company culture through regular check-ins and employee satisfaction surveys.\nCollaborate with the HR team to develop effective HR/recruitment strategies.\nManage and document employee training, continuing education, and work assessments.\nConduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.\nPerform other related duties and assist with special projects as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field\nAt least 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred\nExperience with HRMS/HRIS systems\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent organization skills and attention to detail\nApproachable and appropriate when interacting with the team at various levels\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)\nDesired Qualifications:\nPHR or SPHR certification\nSalary: $60k + to align with education and experience\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. \nIgnite Digital is a Small Business committed to providing exceptional service to government agencies at competitive prices.
