You will operate with autonomy, apply creative solutions, and influence major technical deliverables, while delivering within a larger team project management environment. \nKey Responsibilities: \nIndependently develop and optimize ML models, pipelines, and platform components. \nBuild RAG architectures and high-performing inference systems. \nCreate scalable infrastructure to support training, experimentation, and deployment. \nLead integration of AI/ML models into production systems. \nConduct advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning. \nCollaborate with stakeholders to accelerate mission-driven insights. \nRequired Skills: \nDeep experience building LLM-based systems and RAG architectures. \nStrong proficiency in MLOps tools (e.g. MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow). \nAdvanced scripting (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Rust). \nExpertise deploying models on AWS, Azure, or GCP. \nAbility to work independently with broad responsibilities. \nDesired Skills: \nExperience with scientific datasets or multi-domain research workflows. \nFamiliarity with AWS Bedrock, Databricks, vector databases or comparable technologies. \nStrong foundation in prompt engineering or AI agents.\nExperience working with federal clients. \nClearance Requirements: Secret or TS/SCI eligible \nEducation & Experience: \nBachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, mathematics, or related field. \n3+ years AI/ML professional experience. \nIntermediate certifications (CCSP, CFR, FITSP-M, GSEC, Security+, SSCP) or advanced certifications (SecurityX / CASP+, GCSA, GSLC, CISSP). \nWork Location: National Capital Region \nOn client site with potential for hybrid telework \nInternal Salary Guidance: 115k+ to align with experience and education\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. \nIgnite Digital is a Small Business committed to providing exceptional service to government agencies at competitive prices.
