We believe we will be more successful with a diverse team and are seeking candidates who have lived experience related to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.\nYour Role:\nAs a DIBELS 8th Edition Assessment Administrator contracted by Ignite Reading, your primary responsibility will be to travel to various schools in Massachusetts and administer the DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) assessments to the students enrolled in our program. Your role is crucial in helping us gauge student progress and tailor our instruction to their needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssessment Administration: Travel to assigned schools within Massachusetts to administer DIBELS /Acadience assessments to K-3 students enrolled in Ignite Reading. Follow established assessment protocols to ensure consistency and reliability.\nScheduling and Coordination: Collaborate with school staff and Ignite Reading's team to schedule assessment sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to the school's daily routines.\nData Collection: Accurately record and maintain assessment data for each student in Amplify mCLASS. Ensure the security and confidentiality of student information and assessment results.\nCommunication: Provide clear and concise instructions to students during the assessment process. Address any questions or concerns raised by students or school staff.\nQuality Assurance: Follow standardized assessment procedures to maintain the integrity and reliability of the assessment data. Report any irregularities or issues encountered during assessments.\nReporting: Compile and submit assessment data and results to Ignite Reading in a timely and organized manner. Generate reports as needed to track student progress.\nQualifications:\nA bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with students in an educational setting.\n\nMust be located in the state of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Albany, NY, Connecticut, or New Hampshire, preference for candidates in central or eastern Massachusetts.\n\nFlexibility in working with different schools and students within Massachusetts during the academic day.\n\nStrong/advanced knowledge of the science of reading and foundational skills\n\nKnowledge of the Amplify mCLASS assessment tool\n\nKnowledge and experience administering the DIBELS 8th or previous edition, Acadience, or other aligned early literacy and oral reading fluency assessments assessments\n\nReliable transportation and a valid driver's license.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nThe ability to work independently and follow established assessment protocols.\n\nMust pass a federal background check and a Massachusetts-specific background check\n\nAdministration Windows:\nBOY (Beginning of Year)-9/9/2026-10/16/2026\n\nMOY (Middle of Year)-exact dates TBD, but timeframe is Jan-March\n\nEOY (End of Year)-exact dates TBD, but timeframe is May-June\n\nWhy Join Ignite Reading?\nTransparent Compensation\nAt Ignite Reading, we've embraced a transparent compensation structure to promote fairness and equity, provide accountability, and build trust within our organization.\n\nHourly Rate: $55 / hour (this role is part-time, non-exempt)\nThe same role receives the same compensation, with no negotiation.\n\nThis is a part-time role averaging 3-4 weeks in duration at 10-20 hours per week during administration windows.
