We are seeking an Installation Analyst I to support Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and associated Navy stakeholders in the planning, coordination, analysis, and execution of C4I/IT system modernization and installation activities. The analyst will provide foundational analytical, administrative, and coordination support by collecting and validating information, maintaining program and installation records, tracking assigned actions and milestones, and preparing routine products for Government review.

This role is primarily analytical and programmatic. It connects acquisition, engineering, logistics, field activities, installation teams, and Fleet stakeholders so that capabilities are planned, documented, scheduled, and fielded in accordance with applicable Navy and DoD requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, organize, and maintain quantitative and qualitative information from program offices, installation teams, databases, schedules, reports, technical documentation, and stakeholder inputs.
  • Support advanced planning and installation execution activities for afloat, submarine, shore, and/or enterprise information systems, as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain assigned installation plans, milestone trackers, schedules, fielding-plan inputs, action-item logs, risk inputs, dashboards, and status reports using approved formats and processes.
  • Review routine records and data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy; reconcile discrepancies when possible and elevate issues requiring additional analysis or Government direction.
  • Track deliverable development, submission, review, approval, and closure; identify late or at-risk actions and communicate status to the appropriate team members.
  • Support meetings, working groups, data calls, and stakeholder coordination by preparing materials, documenting decisions and action items, and following up on assigned tasks.
  • Assist with the collection and organization of cost, schedule, performance, resource, and readiness information for analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare routine written analyses, status summaries, briefing materials, data-call responses, and recommendations for internal and Government review.
  • Enter, update, reconcile, and quality-check installation information in Government-approved systems, databases, and collaboration tools.
  • Follow applicable policies, procedures, documentation standards, records-management practices, and configuration-control requirements.
  • Support process-improvement activities by documenting current workflows, identifying recurring issues, and assisting with implementation of approved changes.
  • Perform other related program analysis and installation management duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to conduct research, organize and review information, identify discrepancies, follow established processes, and communicate matters requiring additional review.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear status updates, reports, meeting documentation, and briefing materials.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Access, with the ability to efficiently create, manage, analyze, communicate, and maintain information in support of program and installation requirements.
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, with the ability to navigate and use existing reports, dashboards, applications, and automated workflows, as applicable, to support assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, records discipline, and ability to manage multiple assigned priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a government-contractor team environment and independently complete assigned tasks within established guidance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the clearance, credentials, and system access required by the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting, or familiarity with, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, PEO C4I, NAVSEA, Fleet Readiness Directorate activities, Navy program offices, or comparable DoD organizations.
  • Familiarity with Navy C4I modernization, advanced planning, installation execution, configuration management, systems fielding, or Fleet readiness processes.
  • Exposure to NAVWAR installation process guidance, NAVSEA technical requirements, OPNAV instructions, the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual, or related policy.
  • Experience using applicable Government installation-planning or modernization tools such as CAPS, SPIDER, NDE, NTIRA, Installation Milestone Tracker, or successor systems.
  • Experience maintaining schedules, trackers, risk inputs, metrics, dashboards, process maps, or controlled program documentation.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is preferred.

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Foundational analytical problem-solving and sound judgment
  • Research, data collection, validation, and reconciliation
  • Installation-planning and stakeholder-coordination support
  • Schedule, milestone, action-item, and deliverable tracking
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency and basic familiarity with existing Power Platform solutions
  • Clear technical writing and routine briefing development
  • Data quality, documentation, records, and configuration discipline
  • Organization, reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and apply Government and program-specific processes

$80K+ to align with education and experience.
