transformation standards.\nCloud-Native Data Architecture Design\nArchitect scalable AWS data pipelines using services such as:\nS3\nGlue\nLambda\nEventBridge\nSNS/SQS\nAurora/Postgres\nBatch\nAthena\nDesign data ingestion, staging, transformation, and validation workflows.\nEstablish schema management, versioning, and data lineage practices.\nOptimize data storage for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nSupport serverless and containerized data processing architectures.\nExpert Python-Based Data Engineering\nDevelop advanced Python-based data transformation and validation pipelines.\nImplement modular, reusable data processing components.\nOptimize large-scale data manipulation for distributed execution.\nDevelop high-performance ETL/ELT frameworks.\nEmbed automated validation checks directly into data pipelines.\nExpert-level Python proficiency is required, particularly for:\nHigh-volume data processing\nData validation logic\nModular data engineering frameworks\nData Accuracy, Validation & Visibility\nDesign and implement automated data validation frameworks to ensure:\nFunctional equivalence during migration\nRecord-level and aggregate-level consistency\nDownstream compatibility across subsystems\nDevelop dashboards and reporting mechanisms providing:\nData modernization.\nEnsure upstream/downstream data contract stability.\nPrevent data thrashing during phased migration.\nSupport orchestration of gated workflows through automated triggers rather than manual file exchanges.\nCollaborate across workstreams to establish shared data standards.\nDevSecOps & Governance Alignment\nIntegrate data pipelines into CI/CD frameworks.\nSupport infrastructure-as-code alignment (Terraform/CloudFormation collaboration).\nEnsure compliance with security controls (IAM, encryption, key management).\nProduce documentation supporting:\nArchitecture review boards\nInterface control documents\nData flow diagrams\nSupport ATO-related data validation evidence.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.\n Expert-level proficiency in Python for data engineering.\nDemonstrated experience transforming legacy file-based systems into cloud-native data architectures.\nExperience developing data models for high-volume, data-intensive applications.\nDeep experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Aurora/Postgres, EventBridge, etc.).\nExperience designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.\nExperience building analytical dashboards (e.g., QuickSight or equivalent).\nExperience implementing automated data validation and quality controls.\nExperience working in Agile Scrum
