We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal team of the Ignitis Group shared service center, where you’ll be responsible for providing legal support in complex financial and M&A transactions, ensuring smooth execution, risk management, and close collaboration with key business stakeholders. You will contribute to secure and green energy ecosystem creation by:

• Participating in and providing legal support in financing projects (e.g., project financing, syndicated loans, corporate finance, capital market transactions)
• Participating in and providing legal support in M&A projects (e.g. buy/ sell side, partnerships)
• Leading due diligence reviews, participating in negotiations, providing support throughout the whole transaction, managing post-closing legal matters
• Drafting / reviewing of contractual documentation, managing legal questions and risks
• Managing external advisors and ensuring efficient legal project organization
• Collaborating closely with the finance teams (treasury and investment teams), project teams, other internal stakeholders
• Providing other legal support on other finance and M&A legal complex and day-to-day matters

• University degree in law (master’s degree or higher)
• 5+ years of legal work experience
• 2+ years of experience in finance or M&A transactions
• Great legal drafting skills
• The ability to deal with complex legal issues, reconcile different expectations and have good negotiation and coordination skills
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to legal challenges, taking ownership of your workstreams and driving matters forward with a high degree of independence
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian

Would be an advantage:

• Experience in working on international financing or M&A projects
