This position supervises accounts payable staff, manages vendor relationships, supports month-end close, and helps maintain efficient and compliant financial processes.\nResponsibilities\nSupervise, train, and develop accounts payable staff.\nOversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, entry, and payment.\nReview invoices and payment transactions for accuracy, proper documentation, and appropriate approvals.\nEnsure timely processing of vendor payments and employee reimbursements.\nMonitor AP aging and resolve outstanding invoices and discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.\nReconcile vendor statements and investigate payment or invoice discrepancies.\nCoordinate weekly or scheduled payment runs and ensure appropriate approvals.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.\nMaintain and enforce internal controls and AP policies and procedures.\nIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes, efficiency, and automation.\nAssist with audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to requests.\nPrepare or review AP-related reports and provide information to management.\nCollaborate with Procurement, Operations, Payroll, and other departments to resolve accounting issues.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax requirements.\nPerform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.\nStrong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.\nExperience with accounting or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reporting.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh level of integrity and confidentiality.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.\nPrior team-lead experience preferred.\nExperience with SAP.\nCore Competencies\nLeadership and team development.\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\nFinancial and analytical skills.\nProblem solving.\nProcess improvement.\nVendor relationship management.\nTime management and prioritization.\nCommunication and collaboration.\nKnowledge of internal controls and accounting practices.\nIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
