This role will serve as a key finance leader supporting regional business operations while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, local statutory requirements, internal controls, and Company accounting policies.\nThe Regional Controller will partner closely with regional business leaders, corporate finance, tax, treasury, legal, and external auditors to support operational execution, financial integrity, and process optimization across multiple jurisdictions within Latin America. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, operational leadership, and the ability to manage complex multinational environments in a highly regulated industry.\nResponsibilities\nLead all regional controllership activities across Latin America, including general accounting, month-end close, statutory reporting, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.\nEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Company policies, and local statutory requirements.\nOversee compliance with local tax, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.\nPartner with corporate accounting and FP&A teams to support consolidated reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting requirements.\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with SOX and Company control frameworks.\nCoordinate and manage external audits, statutory audits, and regulatory examinations within the region.\nSupport business initiatives, restructurings, integrations, and operational projects impacting the Latin America region.\nDrive process improvement initiatives and standardization across regional finance operations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness.\nManage and develop regional accounting and finance personnel, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.\nPartner with treasury, tax, legal, and operational leadership on cash management, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and legal entity management matters.\nMonitor evolving accounting, tax, and regulatory developments within the region and assess impacts to the business.\nSupport acquisition integration activities, purchase accounting matters, and other strategic corporate initiatives as needed.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.\n10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including multinational or regional controllership experience.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and multinational statutory reporting requirements.\nExperience operating in Latin America and managing finance activities across multiple countries and currencies.\nPublic accounting experience and/or experience within a complex multinational organization preferred.\nStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions and geographies.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.\nEnglish fluency; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience in gaming, technology, financial technology, or other regulated industries.\nExperience supporting mergers, integrations, or business transformation initiatives.\nFamiliarity with SOX compliance and working in private equity-backed environments.\nKeys to Success\nBuilding collaborative relationships\nDecision making\nDrive results\nFoster innovation\nPersonal energy\nSelf-leadership\nIGT is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace that reflects the global communities and customers we serve.
