For more information, please visit www.igt.com or www.everi.com\nRole Overview\nFull-time | Philippines-based | Fully Remote | 6-hour AEST Overlap Required\nWe are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong software engineering capabilities to help build, scale, and operate our platforms. In this role, you’ll work as part of a small, collaborative agile team, contributing primarily to development (around 80%) while supporting operational responsibilities (around 20%).\nYou’ll design and enhance platform capabilities, improve reliability, enable fast and secure deployments, and help elevate engineering practices across the organisation. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone passionate about automation and engineering.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Engineering Responsibilities\nWrite and contribute code to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.\nContribute unit tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain a high quality codebase.\nCollaborate closely within a small agile team to plan, deliver, and continuously improve.\nPlatform, Reliability & DevOps\nEnsure operational readiness of solutions, including performance, monitoring, reliability, and disaster recovery considerations.\nContribute across design, development, automation, and operational support activities.\nBuild, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, and automated releases.\nContinuously improve system performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational workflows.\nDrive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD and automation.\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Installs and Support teams to ensure platforms are production ready and well supported.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3-5 years of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.\nStrong experience in Java and Spring Boot.\nStrong scripting skills in PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.\nHands on experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code.\nExperience working with virtualised, containerised, or distributed environments.\nSolid understanding of containerisation and orchestration.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).\nGood understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments.\nWork Arrangement\n· Role based in the Philippines.\n· Fully remote from anywhere within the Philippines.\n· Must have at least 6 hours of daily overlap with the Australian Eastern Time Zone (AEST/AEDT).\n· Flexible working hours outside the overlap period.\nIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, and to creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected, and engaged.
