This role provides hands-on engineering support for system deployment, configuration, validation, operational readiness, incident management, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, compliance, and availability of revenue-generating gaming systems supporting hundreds of customer locations across multiple jurisdictions. This position requires a strong combination of network engineering expertise, datacenter operations experience, troubleshooting capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork & Infrastructure Operations\nDesign, configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure supporting Class III gaming systems.\nAdminister physical and virtual server environments across laboratory, datacenter, and production-adjacent environments.\nMonitor system health, network performance, availability, and capacity utilization.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex network, infrastructure, connectivity, and performance issues.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational readiness activities.\nSystem Deployment & Validation\nBuild, configure, validate, and test gaming infrastructure and related network components.\nPrepare systems and equipment for customer deployments, installations, and shipment readiness.\nSupport certification, compliance testing, and jurisdictional approval activities.\nEnsure environments meet technical, operational, and regulatory requirements prior to production release.\nProduction Support & Incident Management\nParticipate in operational support activities for revenue-generating production systems.\nRespond to critical incidents, production outages, escalations, and customer-impacting issues.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nCollaborate with Operations, Development, and Customer Support teams to restore services and minimize business impact.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Engineering, Field Services, Operations, Compliance, Product Development, and Customer teams.\nSupport infrastructure readiness for platform migrations, system consolidations, and strategic initiatives.\nProvide technical guidance and documentation to ensure effective knowledge sharing and operational continuity.\nContribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.\nCompliance & Regulatory Support\nMaintain infrastructure in accordance with gaming regulatory requirements, audit standards, and licensing obligations.\nSupport jurisdictional readiness activities and certification efforts.\nEnsure accurate documentation of network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.\n3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure support, or systems administration.\nExperience supporting enterprise network environments, datacenters, and mission-critical systems.\nStrong understanding of:\nTCP/IP networking\nRouting and switching technologies\nFirewalls and network security\nVLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation\nWindows and/or Linux server environments\nVirtualization technologies\nExperience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues.\nAbility to work effectively in fast-paced operational environments.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting regulated industries such as gaming, financial services, healthcare, or similar environments.\nExperience with datacenter operations and server infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools.\nKnowledge of compliance, audit, and certification processes.\nRelevant certifications such as:\nCCNA / CCNP\nNetwork+\nVMware certifications\nMicrosoft certifications\nKey Competencies\nProblem solving and root cause analysis\nCustomer focus\nAccountability and ownership\nOperational excellence\nCross-functional collaboration\nAdaptability in complex technical environments\nAttention to detail and compliance\nImpact of the Role\nThis position supports critical gaming infrastructure serving approximately 500 customer locations across multiple jurisdictions and multiple datacenter environments.
