This role oversees payroll processing, controls, reporting, and process improvement while partnering closely with People & Culture, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, employees, and external payroll providers.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in a complex payroll environment, hands-on expertise with ADP and SAP SuccessFactors, and the ability to manage payroll across multiple entities, states, and jurisdictions. Experience supporting Canada and Latin America payroll operations is a plus.\nWe will consider candidates located in Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago, or Reno.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead end-to-end payroll operations for IGT and its subsidiary entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.\nOversee biweekly payroll activities, including timecard review, payroll calculations, pay differentials, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and control records.\nAudit employee and payroll data in ADP and SAP SuccessFactors, including new hires, compensation changes, job classifications, employee changes, and terminations.\nReview payroll calculations and reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.\nPartner with People & Culture, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, and other teams to maintain accurate payroll data and smooth processing.\nSupport domestic and international payroll activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and payroll vendors as needed.\nEnsure compliance with payroll laws, wage-and-hour requirements, company policies, internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable government regulations.\nCoordinate year-end and periodic payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution and other required tax reporting.\nPrepare payroll reports, reconciliations, expenditure records, analyses, and status updates for leadership.\nDevelop and maintain payroll procedures, controls, documentation, and performance measures.\nIdentify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, strengthen controls, and create more efficient processes.\nManage relationships with domestic and international payroll providers to ensure service expectations and processing requirements are met.\nRespond to employee and leadership payroll questions with professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.\nLead, coach, develop, and manage payroll team members, including performance management, training, scheduling, and career development.\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.\nProgressive payroll experience, including experience leading payroll operations and supervising payroll professionals.\nHands-on experience with ADP payroll solutions and SAP; SAP SuccessFactors experience is strongly preferred.\nExperience supporting multi-entity, multi-state, and/or international payroll operations.\nKnowledge of payroll taxation, wage-and-hour regulations, payroll accounting, SOX controls, and year-end reporting requirements.\nExperience with Canada or Latin America payroll operations is preferred.\nStrong analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll environment.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships across teams and with external vendors.\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred.\nKeys to Success\nYou are detail-oriented and take pride in delivering accurate payroll every time.\nYou can balance day-to-day payroll execution with improving processes, controls, and reporting.\nYou are comfortable working across systems, reviewing complex data, and resolving discrepancies quickly.\nYou lead with accountability, maintain confidentiality, and create a supportive, high-performing team environment.\nYou build strong relationships with internal partners and payroll vendors to keep operations running smoothly.\nYou stay current on payroll regulations and apply sound judgment when navigating complex or changing requirements.\n#LI-Onsite\nIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
