You’ll oversee receiving, warehousing, line-side delivery, extraction, shipping, and parts distribution while helping ensure accurate, on-time outbound shipments and a strong customer experience.\nYou’ll also guide process improvements across logistics and partner teams, using performance metrics and Lean methods to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support business goals.\nResponsibilities\nSupervise daily logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, line-side delivery, extraction, shipping, and parts distribution.\nOrganize high-volume shipping days, prioritize loads, and help minimize truck departure delays.\nDevelop and track metrics to measure logistics performance and document process improvements.\nIdentify and implement improvements that strengthen service, delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\nApply Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods to achieve measurable results.\nDevelop and maintain process maps, performance metrics, and control plans for key logistics processes.\nCoordinate improvement initiatives with procurement, scheduling, production, inspection, shipping, and administrative teams.\nCreate project communication plans and provide timely operational updates.\nSupport the development of logistics capabilities needed to deliver on strategic plans.\nParticipate in team meetings, KPI reviews, and staff discussions to align on goals and performance.\nMaintain clear documentation of processes and methods.\nCoach and develop associates and help build future leadership talent.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.\nAt least five years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience managing teams with a focus on accountability, quality, and safety.\nHands-on experience with Lean warehousing or manufacturing, including leading Kaizen events, 5S projects, and PDCA cycles.\nFormal training in Lean methodologies, including experience with Value Stream Management, A3, Kaizen, or other Lean tools.\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to organize, develop, and present project information to varied audiences.\nExperience presenting information and making recommendations to senior management.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMore than three years of experience improving business processes and performance.\nSix Sigma Green Belt certification.\nAdvanced Lean training, including Value Stream Mapping, A3, and Kaizen tools.\nIn-depth knowledge of shipping and warehousing practices.\nExperience with SAP systems.\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nIGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged.
